Tomasz Wojdacz
Epigenetic clinical research expert
Prof. Tomasz K. Wojdacz, MD, PhD, is an expert in clinical epigenetic research, combining scientific, educational, and business activities in his work. He earned his PhD from Aarhus University in Denmark. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he started his research career at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia and later conducted research at Karolinska Institutet, the University of Southampton, and the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies. He was a Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow and also holds an MBA from Kozminski University.
He currently leads the Independent Laboratory of Clinical Epigenetics at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. He is the founder and CEO of MethylDetect ApS and EPI CAN Technologies sp. z o.o., companies based on intellectual property developed by the research teams he led.
He is a cofounder and the current President of the International Society for Molecular and Clinical Epigenetics.
