Her scientific work focuses on plant fibers, particularly flax and hemp, and their use in health promoting textiles enriched with natural plant derived substances. She has conducted research on how materials affect the skin and human physiology, combining materials engineering with the principles of sustainable development.
She is the author of numerous publications and patents and has led international research and development projects. Her honors include the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
At ELEVATE, she will discuss how textiles affect our health and the global microplastics crisis.
