Professor at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin and a specialist in the genetics of complex traits, epigenetic aging, and lifestyle epigenetics. Her current research focuses on the mechanisms of epigenetic aging and the practical application of this knowledge in public health, precision medicine, and forensic science.

She studies the relationship between biological age and the rate of visible aging. The epigenetic markers of facial features she has identified are paving the way for a new generation of precise interventions in dermatology and cosmetology. She is among the top 2% of the world’s most cited scientists.
