PhD in medical sciences, a cosmetologist specializing in bioaesthetic cosmetology, a trichologist, and a scientist working in molecular biology and experimental oncology. She earned her doctorate at the Medical University of Gdańsk, where she studied metabolites of 17β-estradiol in cancer cells.

A long standing university lecturer, author of internationally published papers and of bestselling books on trichology, stem cells and the skin microbiome, including the first English language book on cosmetology and trichology published by PZWL.

Named Person of the Year 2023 at the Art of Beauty Prestige Awards, she reviews for the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology and belongs to the International Trichoscopy Society and the Polish Society of Longevity Medicine.

At ELEVATE, she will talk about the biological mechanisms of overnight skin repair and the role the circadian rhythm plays in skin aging.
