FootMedica is a specialist clinic combining physiotherapy, podiatry and orthopodology. We look at the feet not in isolation, but as part of the whole movement system: gait, balance, strength and mobility.

During a consultation we assess foot and ankle function, loading patterns, gait and selected parameters of balance and functional strength. Depending on the patient's needs, the next steps may include physiotherapy, exercise, podiatric treatment, footwear selection or custom orthotic insoles.

In the context of healthy ageing, what matters to us is not only whether a patient is in pain today, but whether their body will let them stay active and independent in the years ahead.

At the FootMedica booth at ELEVATE, visitors will be able to take a gait and mobility check: a short screening of walking pattern, foot loading, ankle function, balance and lower limb strength. Each participant receives feedback from a physiotherapist and orthopodologist on what their strengths are, what is worth keeping an eye on and what the next step could be.
